The Man Who Broke All the Rules

DAVID CARSON

"There are rules??!!"
I've decided to just wing-it this time and not copy and paste but
rather just type my own thoughts randomly as they occur, or at least try to anyway.

David Carson smashed people beliefs of what "Type should be" and carved his own name into everything he did.
The true master of "grunge" fonts, Carson broke all the rules, and upset graPhic designers everywhere who were busy trying                                 to bring uniform and order to an
otherwise unstable world.

Carson is best known for his typographic design.
I think people have been inspired by David's work because he isn't afraid to break the mould.
A breath OF fresh air! Shunned in the nineties, now his work and technique dominate design, advertising, tHe web, and even movies!

Unfinished teXt, unreadable text, rearranged words, all creating chaos, nothing what it "should" be, out of order but always to the point, always conveys the intended message... mostly.

I think I like the way he fits worDs into an image anyway he interperpates them.

                                                                           Thanks for reading!
